What is a pet passport?

A Pet Passport is a document that officially records information related to a specific animal, as part of that procedure. The effect is to drastically speed up and simplify travel with and transport of animals between member countries, compared to previous procedures, if the regulations are followed. A pet passport includes a record of any and all of the treatments your pet has had. They are available from certain vets – if your vet doesn’t issue them, it will give you the details of one that does. When you apply for a pet passport, you will need to take your pet, along with vaccination and other medical records, to the issuing vet.

We use the Ryslip Group for our puppy exports.

Ryslip has been exporting dogs and cats for well over 40 years. They pride themselves on giving a personal and efficient service which ensures that you will receive the very best attention and help during all stages of your pet’s export.

They will advise you on all the necessary and sometimes very complex documentation and guide you through every step of the way.

They have a veterinary surgeon that visits the kennels routinely every working day which enables them to offer a complete and comprehensive service. The vet will carry out any testing and treatment necessary to ensure that your animals have a stress-free move. We can also arrange for collection from an address anywhere in Great Britain.

Ryslip manufactures its own Air Travel Kennels, made to IATA specification, which can be made to any size you may require. They are also able to supply the highly durable plastic Vari Kennels, which are available in 6 sizes.
